Re: Keep Your Eye Out For This One |
I'm listening to 8/4/71 now and it sounds mighty fine!! This show has some great energy and the band is on fire. Phil is really loud in the mix, but being that I like Phil that's OK. Not a criticism, just an observation. This show is smokin'! Highly recommended, especially for all of us who are Pigpen lovers! A real Pigfest! The best line of the show goes to Jerry though when he jokes with the inmates "Ya know a lot of times we play concerts and get people breakin' in.."
Thanks for the heads up!
Check out the lineage, Master Reel>CD! No DAT gen, no cassette or additional reel generations either.. SWEET! Nice one Charlie!
